“How many times must I say this? We don’t work on new cars.”

“It’s not new, it’s four years old. We need to step up─”

He waved his hand. “Antonio, business is fine. Everyone is not going to have a new car.”

I ground my teeth in frustration and held my tongue.

  1. Hi, excellent snippet. I quite enjoyed the interaction between the characters, you’re dialouge is crisp and organic. I’m very curious as to why he’s so opposed to working on newer model cars.

I do have to pull on my moderator hat for a moment and make one small request. You did a great job including the backlink to the WeWriWa site, but if you could also mention the group name as well, it would be great. It helps us attract more writers to the group and keep this blog hop growing. Thanks!

  2. Engaging snippet. Dialogue is very natural and shows the conflict between the 2 generations. I gather his father doesn’t want to get involved with all the problems of computer chips in vehicles. Nicely done.
